Better Late Than Never AKA It’s A Boy!

Well, no one’s really had a kid, but this last piece of DR genius has been in the oven for over 9 months and the baby’s head is definitely crowning.

This session was recorded way back on March 5th of 2011 and it was a doozy.

On that night long ago, Chris Girard, Bennett Webber, and I welcomed back the incomparable Julie Meyers and her Facebook boyfriend Scott Ikegami. Scott then proceeded to shock the world and surprise us mildly when he pulled out an engagement ring and popped the question – to Julie of all people! (It’s in Pt. 3 btw)

Julie then shocked the hell out of everybody by actually saying YES!

Oh, it was a joyous occasion – the first ever Drink Radio marriage proposal! What a moment to share with our (2) listeners...

So why did it take me so long to post this masterpiece? All I can say is shit happens and time flies. Regardless, with Scott and Julie’s nuptials only a week away – Vegas, baby! - I figured it was about time to get on with it.

It was so long ago, I can’t remember much else about the session other than we played a lot of good music, got a little tipsy, talked about micro-penises, played with a Kiwano fruit and had a few laughs. Sounds about right.

Congratulations to Scott and Julie – and a shout out to my buddy Ki Guiliano. I promised to play some Molly Hatchet for ya buddy, but we seemed to get off track.

There’s also a trippy little promo thingy Bennett put together in Pt. 1 to plug his mouthblog, so I still hope it exists.

Thanks to all for your support and KEEP THE EMAILS, COMMENTS and REQUESTS COMING! Yeah, whatever.

IMPORTANT NOTE!!!! PLEASE READ
Drink Radio is filled with naughty swear  words, themes of questionable taste and a pretty good dose of sophomoric vulgarity. Good times! But I don’t want to be getting no letters from no mothers complainin’ that we’re a bunch of vile hosebags – only Bennett’s Mom is okay – so listen at your own risk.

NOT SO IMPORTANT NOTE!!!! READ IF YOU WANT TO
